About

Amy ReitzelAmy’s Wagon Wheel Creations is a quilt pattern business owned and operated by Amy Reitzel. Amy has turned her obsession with quilting into a successful pattern company.

Amy started sewing when she was 6 years old and started quilting around the age of 12. She continued quilting through high school and then picked it back up in her early 30’s. In the early years she quilted everything by hand, now she quilts almost exclusively by machine. Amy loves to share her passion for quilting with others.

Amy’s patterns are targeted towards the confident beginning quilter but find that more advanced quilters enjoy creating them as well. Amy likes to create designs that look hard but are actually broken down into simple easy steps so that anything is possible.

Amy has had quilts in the 2005 American Quilt Society Exposition in Nashville TN, 2008 American Quilt Society Paducah KY show, and the National Quilt Association show in Columbus OH several times, as well as numerous regional and local quilt shows. She also taken best of show at her local fair twice and first and second place at the Michigan State Fair with those quilts. These quilt shows have amassed a large number of awards and ribbons.

Amy’s Wagon Wheel Creations patterns are available for wholesale, more info available on Wholesale page.
